Weddings, Anniversaries & Weight Loss

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

It doesn't feel like Ross and I have been together for three years.  I honestly feel like I've known him my whole life...when really it has only been about 10% of it!  We are celebrating this weekend (our official anniversary is Sunday) and I am ready for the work week to end so we can get sushi, have drinks and just spend some time together.

The day we met!

I also have really been slacking in the Wedding Wednesday department...and I'm sorry!  There have actually been some big things going on with the wedding.  I am planning an update post in the next few weeks to go over everything that has been happening...just bear with me for a little while longer.  I will tell you though, we have had some stressful shit go down since my last wedding recap.  I slightly touched on this yesterday, but let me just say it has been a tough month or so.  But at the end of it all I get to marry my best friend, so I have to keep that in mind!

I'm also another week into my workout/weight loss 'program'...if you can even call it that.  I haven't weighed myself this week, but I am feeling great...more energetic and definitely can see results.  I have started to add in a lot more weight training to my workouts to really focus on toning.  I got my butt totally kicked the past two nights in Zumba.  My instructor introduced a bunch of new songs and they were brutal!  I am so sore today!  But being sore means it is working...so that is a great thing!

I cannot stop listening to the Pitch Perfect soundtrack.  Just because...it is amazing.  Obviously.

  4. Hello fellow (former) Bostonian! I'm actually from NJ, but an ex-Mid-Atlantic gal who has converted to the New England life. I have to start a workout routine soon to get in shape for next year - and I will definitely be downloading the Pitch Perfect soundtrack to help me out! I love that movie!
