Ladies, I have a confession to make. I like doing laundry. Okay. I said it. Yes, laundry. I love the smell of fresh clothes and folding them when they are first out of the dryer and soooo warm. I typically do my laundry on Sundays while I am lounging around being lazy with Seamus. But I also wash my sheets and comforter twice a week due to that large furball that sleeps with us.
About a month ago I heard of Woolzies, a new alternative to the normal fabric softeners you might be familiar with. Woolzies are actually balls that are handmade out of 100% pure wool. They are about the size of an orange and go straight into the dryer with your clothes. As I found out more about them I have become a total addict!! Just read this and tell me you are't intruiged...
"They deliver the same benefits for laundry as conventional fabric softeners WITHOUT all the nasty chemicals. They save everyone a lot of money by eliminating the need to continuously spend on fabric softener liquid and sheets. They cut down on the time it takes to dry a typical load by at least 25% thereby saving everyone even more money and cutting down on fossil fuel usage. Finally, being as that they are handmade in the democratic republic of Nepal, they provide a steady source of income to the desperately needy women of that developing nation."
They definitely do what they say...my clothes are so soft and they absolutely cut down on drying time. I definitely won't be going back to fabric softener liquids and sheets.
Best thing about Woolzies? I am giving away a box of 6 to one of YOU! Enter the giveaway below!
