DoggieLawn - Possibly the best thing ever invented.

Thursday, September 19, 2013

Hey fellow pet owners/dog addicts/doggie moms...have you guys ever heard of DoggieLawn?  I was recently given the chance to try out this really cool product and obviously jumped at the chance!  Well really...Seamus and Penny were given the chance to try it out...yea, that makes more sense.

So it arrived in a really big box...(please ignore my messy sink since I had just moved in that day)...and the second it came in the door Seamus and Penny were ALL over it.  Going nuts just smelling and prancing around the box.  Guess they love that fresh grass smell :)

I opened it up and it literally is fresh, long grass!  Smells just like a newly cut backyard!  The idea is you subscribe to the monthly service and DoggieLawn sends you a new one every one or two weeks!!  You can place it outside on a balcony, or a back grass-less patio like we have for your furry friend to do their business.  Oddly enough, our DoggieLawn could not have come at a better time.  We had just moved into our new place, and Penny and Seamus were forced to adjust to living in the city after having a plush, fenced in yard for a year.  They use the lawn constantly from the second I put it down on the patio.  Score!

It might sound crazy, but my dogs really do love it.  It is perfect for people who live in the city or an apartment and do not have access to a grassy area right away.  It also is SO convenient for a rainy/cold/snowy day!  Takes away the need to go for a longgggg walk just so doggy can do his business.

And because the people at DoggieLawn are the best...they are going to give away one lawn to one of you guys!!  Just enter the giveaway below.  I will announce a winner next week :)  In the mean time if you are loving the idea and want to subscribe on you own, use promo code SEQUINS10 for $10 off your first month!!!

  1. Wow such an interesting concept! I'm going to pass this along to a few friends with dogs who live in apartments with balcony. We have neither dog nor balcony, but I can totally see the appeal!
